One of the nicest Biergarten in Recklinghausen city, neat to the oldtown. Nice vegetrian dishes.

Compliments to the service and the ambience. We had dinner there with 6 people on a Saturday. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The service staff did a great job, came by several times and asked how we were feeling. She also apologized that the food took a little longer. There was probably a bit more going on that evening. But it wasn't too dramatic for us. I had the schnitzel with cream champions. However, the sauce just ran past the cream. The amount of sauce was also very small, so I had to order more, which cost me €2 extra. The schnitzel (pork) was dry and bland, unfortunately. The creme bruule was more of an interpretation. Overall, the taste experience was not in proportion to the price. It's not completely wrong, but it could be done better.

Beautiful furnishings, the hall like it was 30 years ago. One service for 28 guests. The food, which had been ordered well in advance, arrived at least an hour late. One hour between three starters and the main courses. The dishes were okay but clearly too expensive. Drink prices are going crazy. Soory, not like that.

Class reunion after 50 years, separate room, own service person Lisa, quick and hard-working always with a genuine smile, very tasty food with 30 "students" we were all able to eat together. Everyone was super happy, it was a great evening. Thank you very much

Unfortunately I can't give it five stars because I was a bit lost when I arrived. I only found the on-site parking space after some searching. Then we couldn't find the entrance either. Now for the positive: The price-performance ratio is very good! The breakfast is definitely worth the money. There are fresh rolls, freshly made breakfast eggs in every variation you want,...! The rooms are small, but also cheap.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere, super delicious food and very attentive and friendly waiters. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely reasonable. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

We only ate there. We really enjoyed it and really appreciated being able to finally get high-quality “home cooking” again. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Family celebration! Table reserved. Cozy with the old photos and the relatively simple furnishings. To feel good. Very nice service, seasonal dishes (kale, game, goose, duck. Otherwise great salads and soups and "basic cuisine". Schnitzel, steak, burgers, vegetarian dishes, salads, good home cooking. Our larger company had everything. Everyone enjoyed it. Parking spaces in good proximity right in front of the door (okay, a bit reduced at the moment due to road construction). Price/quality/performance is good and “leftovers” from the large portions are happily packed up.
